Scholarship

We sponsor people in Zanzibar who want to attend a Permaculture Course in East Africa. You can apply for the scholarship whether you are employed by the government, working in the private sector, self-employed or a volunteer.

 

Qualification:

You should be committed and willing to learn, ready to make a change, able to train others, putting words into action, interested in environmental issues and willing to volunteer. Fluent in English is an added advantage but not a must.

 

Sponsorship for you who is employed by the government:

You have a possibility to be sponsored the tuition fee, accommodation and meals during the course. You or your employer has to stand for all other costs as for example transport, additional meals and pocket money.

 

Sponsorship for you who is employed at the private sector

You have a possibility to be sponsored the tuition fee, accommodation and meals during the course and a return ticket from where you live to where the course is. You or your employer has to stand for all other costs as for example additional meals and pocket money.

 

Sponsorship for you who is self-employed or a volunteer

You have a possibility to be sponsored a tuition fee, accommodation, meals and a return ticket from where you live to where the course is. A minimum amount of pocket money (USD 5/day) is also included in the sponsorship.

When

The application should be completed by 1^st of November every even year (starting by 2012).

The ones that will be accepted will participate in the course the year after the application is handled in.
