Horse and carriage to a summer farm

Back in the old days, the farmers in Dalarna used to go to the summer farms with their animals. Most of the activities were done there. By those times, no cars were used. These summer farms are called “fäbod”. Before year 1612, Sjurberg (the village which Bockgården lies) was once a summer farm. With a horse and a carriage, we will travel the old fashion way through the beautiful forest to Karl Tövåsens fäbod. You will find more information under “Activities”.
