Go Nature

Naturbruket Siljan and its surroundings will help you to come back to nature. Here you have a possibility to rent a bicycle, a canoe or a safe shelter for your horse. During the winter season there are kick-sledges, snowshoes and long-distance skates available in order for you to explore the nature on and around Lake Siljan.

There are nice paths for wandering, riding and cycling. The Siljan’s path for wandering passes just on the western side of the farm in the forest while Siljan’s routes for riding and cycling pass just on the eastern side of the farm.

If you come with a horse, we will arrange for you to ensure that even your horse will feel welcomed! Do not worry about wolves, bears and wild cats as we have a special fence that ensures security from the predatory animals.

​

There is a book “Sjurberg - en Rättviksby förr och nu” (Sjurberg – a village in the past and today), that is available to assist you when you move around during you stay with us. You can discover the village by your own! The book with the map is only available in Swedish but we will highlight you before you Go Nature.

​

Besides spending time in the nature together with our agricultural and forestry activities, we are also berry- and mushroom pickers. That, together with our hunting- and fishing interest, gives us a wide experience about our fantastic nature that we willingly share with you.
