Experience Spring with a horse

A horse has always been kept at Bockgården farm. Together with our neighbour’s working horses we are today bringing back the old good days at Bockgården. Horses love to work and it is fantastic to spend time with them!

There are always a lot of things one can do with a kind and well trained ‘nordsvensk’ horse. With a horse and a carriage we will take you to Springkällan, a natural water spring, and its wonderful nature around it. As we arrive we will make a fire and have a warm drink and snack together. We are going to experience spring in wonderful Dala nature!

During the horse tour, you have a possibility to learn more about horses and our landscape together with our charming and good neighbours, who have also passion for the traditional nordsvensk horses.

Coming back after the eventful tour with the horse, you are going to enjoy the good food from Bockgården.

This package includes:

• A welcome drink
• 3 hours horse tour with a local guide, on Saturday
• 2 nights stay at Bockgården
• Bedclothes and towels
• 2 x farm breakfast
• 1 x lunch
• 2 x supper
• 1 picnic basket

* The food is vegetarian whereas most of the products are ecological and locally produced.

When

This package is offered during the weekends from April to mid-summer in June. Check-in time from Friday 3 pm and Check-out time Sunday before 11 am. The supper is served between 6 pm and 8 pm.

Price

The package price for this experience is SEK 3 200 per adult and SEK 2 500 per child between three years and twelve years. Children under three years is free!

Bockgården is a small farm. We, therefore, offer only small-scaled and unique package experiences. This package is offered only to you and your company, and we can accommodate maximum 5 people at a time. Minimum 2 people.

​

We encourage you to use public transport. We are willing to come and collect you with a horse and a carriage at the railway station without extra cost, just let us know when you book!

It is possible to extend your stay at Bockgården after the end of this package.
